We are excited to announce that the season will commence on Saturday, October 23 at 8:00am.
All athletes must participate in a warm-up led by the senior athletes at 8:00am before moving to their events. The canteen will be open and we welcome back our coffee van!
Uniform sales and registration pack collection will be available on Thursday, October 21 from 4:30pm to 6:00pm or on Saturday from 7:30am.
The two week trial for those wanting to try little athletics before signing up will be held on Saturday, October 23 and 30.

Rules and Reminders
Just a reminder that a parent or guardian must be present at all times. We require assistance to run events for all age groups.
Little Athletics is a smoke-free environment.
No dogs are allowed at Walter Peate Oval as per our council agreement.
Athletes aged Under 11 and above are permitted to wear spikes for jumps, javelin and laned events. They must be removed before leaving an event or the track.
A relay day will be held on Saturday, November 13 for athletes aged Under 6 to Under 17.
Relays is a team event competition, where athletes can compete in up to 5 events. The track teams comprise of four athletes, and the field teams comprise of the total number of nominated athletes for that age groups’ event. Athletes will need to be fully paid and registered by October 30 to participate.

Queensland Border Closure
Tweed Little Athletics and Little Athletics Queensland do not endorse attendance at any competitions or carnivals held by LAQ or QA in Queensland for anyone residing in NSW as it is in breach of current Queensland Border Restrictions.
Crossing the border is currently restricted to essential purposes only, participation in sport is not a valid reason.
Please comply with this current law and respect the safety of all of our community.
Covid-19 Safety Plan
Tweed Little Athletics have completed a NSW Government Covid-19 Safety Plan and comply with public health orders and restrictions, as per NSW Health guidelines children under the age of 15 do not need to be vaccinated to participate.
Please do not attend on days if you or your child are feeling unwell.
All committee members and coaches are double vaccinated.
Please sign in using the QR code each week.
Hand sanitiser and disinfectant for equipment are available for use at each event.
