Regional Relays are fast approaching. Held this year at Gold Coast Little Athletics- Pizzey Park, Miami on Saturday, 15th November- No club athletics in Kingscliff on this day. Draft Event Order
At Regional Relay competitions, track teams comprise of four athletes. Any number of athletes may participate in field events, as athletes’ results form teams on the day to progress to State.
The Regional Relays emphasise team participation during a fun and friendly competition for all athletes in the U7 to U17 age groups.
At the Regional Relays, there are no finals. Placings and progression are determined by the team’s best times on the track and combined performances on the field.
Each U7 and U8 athlete receives a participation ribbon at their Regional Relay competition.
Nominate using the Google form– teams will be formed by the Committee and confirmed via email.

Do you know someone who would like to try athletics before signing up? A two week trial is available for $20- simply complete the trialist form.
Come and Try Days
Run, jump and throw! Free Come and Try Days will be held on Sunday, August 10 and Sunday, August 24 from 10am until 12 noon. Come and join in the fun with free coaching sessions and committee members available to answer any questions.

Our AGM is scheduled for Tuesday, May 6 at 6:30pm at the Kingscliff Beach Bowls Club.
It is vital that we have new committee members to assist with the smooth running of our beautiful club.
Are you able to assist with uniform sales, help set up and pack up equipment, take photos, post to Facebook, cook a barbeque, collect money when nominations are due, help with fundraising, be a friendly face to answer questions? We need you!
Everyone is welcome, come and join in the fun!
Attendance at monthly meetings is not required for general committee members.

Tweed “40 Year” Twilight Carnival – Saturday 25 November commencing at 2pm. Entertainment and food trucks to follow the carnival from 6pm to 9pm.

All past and present members are invited to come down from 6pm to celebrate.
Food trucks, Live music by the Funny Goats and games and our Raffle.

Fees for the season are $220 – We accept Active Kids Vouchers
Uniforms – which must be worn each week are $35 for Shirt and $30 for shorts or bummers

The Little Athletics Queensland Annual Conference was held at Seaworld on the weekend of the 3rd and 4th of June.
Tweed won the award Highest Registration Increase (Centres more than 100 registrations) as well as the award for Highest Re-Registration percentage (Centres more than 100 registrations)
